2008-12-13 13:19:00 | Left my phone in my work shorts pocket and put it through a long heavy duty wash then into the drier for an hour on hot. Found it when I took the clothes out of the drier. It was pretty dead. left it on the bedroom table and around midnight next day it suddenly started ringing to say I had voice mail. Been going fine ever since. Anyone else been so lucky?

2008-12-13 19:16:00 | I've never sent my phone through the drier and washing machine (but my friend has). The worst experience my phone has had was being dropped onto concrete from about a metre. :p It was merely scratched.

2008-12-13 19:39:00 | Neighbour dropped his Samsung in the bath. IT wasn't happy for some time but eventually came right and has been ever since. I just bought husband the Sanyo 7050 due to its reviews on how it can survive drops and throws.......

2008-12-13 21:27:00 | I agree. I have a Sanyo 7400 and it seriously survives ANYTHING. I dropped it in the toilet once and it turned off for a few minutes after, but then about 10 minutes later I could get it to turn on, and a few hours later the moisture inside the screen eventually evaporated. Everything works fine. Been dropped MANY of times as well.

2008-12-13 21:49:00 | I dropped a cordless into a 10L paint pail. Rinsed it off immediately, took out the battery & put the phone in the airing cupboard. No use tho' absolutely Toyota'd. Cost ME another phone.Plus an earful!!! PJ
