| 839868 | 2009-12-15 17:37:00 | Have one of my spare comps running XP pro has decided to stop booting. It gets to the loading windows stage then keeps scrolling, eventually reboots no blue screen. Have installed another HDD with puppy on and that boots fine so don't think its hardware. Graphics is onboard Have also done a fixboot and fixmbr even tried restoring from a working image but still not booting. Doesn't really matter as I can always re install but would like try and get to the bottom of it first as it's a good learning curve. Any suggestions? Thanks |

| 839869 | 2009-12-15 18:58:00 | You may not get to the bottom of it. Does Safe Mode work? Try a Repair Install, something corrupt for whatever reason possibly. |
