Preferably I would like one that can be be inserted in computer after recordings and automatically types audio notes to a .txt document. Does anybody have some thoughts about this topic, e.g. best device, quality of audio/text conversion etc. All comments are appreciated. Thanks. Raimund. |

| 839271 | 2009-12-20 03:33:00 | My wife purchased a Sony ICD PX720 for recording peoples life stories recently. It does everything we expected including transfer to a computer via USB and seems to perform well. The blurb says it can be used with Dragon Naturally Speaking to covert to text but we have not tried it yet. The USB interface seems to make quite a difference to the price, similar devices without it were a lot cheaper. |

The ICD PX-720 does not come with Dragon Naturally Speaking, but if you purchased Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred (or higher) you would be able to download and have Dragon convert-to-text recordings made on the PX-720.
