There are ways to get around the Rapidshare throttling though. I can get upwards of 1MB/s (megabyte not megabit incase anyone is confused which I doubt lol) on a premium account with IDM. |

Seriously though the helpdesk monkeys just don't know better. Just insist that no matter what you're not changing plans, and they're going to have to try something else. Where are the Maplestory servers you play on based outta? |

| 839927 | 2009-12-17 19:07:00 | Yeah but they even said in that TV ad, "at peak times things like filesharing and gaming will be slowed down" I mean, they already said it, if the games are slowed down you can't really complain. Sure it's stupid but they already told you that's what they were going to do... It will probably get better eventually though, they will get better at working out which traffic to throttle and what not to |

| 839929 | 2009-12-17 20:38:00 | Just tried something from MediaFire (no account) and was getting 1.3MB/s with IDM. So I dont think they throttle that lol. But as you say chill, hopefully it will get better. People will get sick of it and jump ship while they are still getting their systems in place. But when they get it all worked out it should be sweet as. (If it isn't already :D) |

All I do is click on HQ /HD button and about 85% of the time it's streams without any problems without buffering. | Sweetheart (15510) | ||
