First thing I do these days is check where it's made. If it's not a traditional kiwi beer (that is, it's an import knock-off made by NZ Breweries or DB), I stop buying it. I don't drink Stella or Heineken any more - and there's a few other going the same way that I'll be sad not to drink in NZ again too. I bet you couldnt say no to a cold Heineken after a hot day in the sun loading hay bales. |

| 729510 | 2008-12-16 00:15:00 | Food prices in NZ are ****. Alot of foods groups tried to justify putting the prices up because of the price of oil etc, but now oil has come down food prices are still going up. Wtf? | rob_on_guitar (4196) | ||

World commodity prices have stabilized or actually fallen but so has our dollar which wipes out a lot of the price drops we would have had otherwise. |
