729634 2008-12-17 03:54:00 Don't know about you guys-but I did it on my machine and FF started up 6 seconds faster.

Hate to say this, but you're either imagining things, or the speedup is caused by something else unrelated, or you're feeding us bull****.

There is no possible way for the tip you posted to speed up firefox load times unless your HDD has a throughput measured in snails per hour.

729635 2008-12-17 04:11:00 Huh well I'll try it on a few more PCs Blam (54)
729636 2008-12-17 06:03:00 If the disk is really fragmented, compressing the required files may just get them contiguous, I see no other way the thing should work. R2x1 (4628)

729639 2008-12-17 09:25:00 What. The. ****.

You don't even edit the swearing out of his post? I'm sorry, but if that had been me, I would have had my post completely deleted regardless of its contribution to the thread and I would most likely have been banned for 2 - 3 days.

Double standards much?

You obviously don't have 100 addons like me.

We should do a pf1 vote for the top 5 addons
