A (potentially) fatal combination of greed, lack of moral fibre and stunning stupidity.

730291 2008-12-17 22:08:00 I think you are being generous with your thread's "title".

More like "What a Slob" :)

I wonder if he has realised just how big his AH is going to be in a few weeks time :D :D

I think he'll probably enjoy it. How on earth did he get that loan in the first place??

730293 2008-12-17 22:11:00 I would like to know how a sickness beneficiary can get a loan for $576,000

See at the bottom of that nzherald link.

730294 2008-12-17 22:27:00 Yes he takes the cake for being a low life human being. Especially as he wont say who he sold them to.
Some people from behind tills are going to see some of the barrels pointing their way.
Another bad thing is it will get that anti gun nut Alpers in full cry.

730295 2008-12-17 22:34:00 If he's a sickness beneficiary, and couldn't service his jumbo loan, where did he get the money to build a 121-gun collection?

It seems a great shame the max sentence available was 3 years. He is as, if not more, culpable for each violent episode these guns will feature in in the coming years ...

730297 2008-12-17 22:41:00 Perhaps you need a lot of money to maintain a body of those proportions?

I have used handguns on an army range and am assured of their deadliness - if not accuracy - a fact of which I have no doubt.

Many people are influenced by what they see on TV and don't seem to realise that on TV, you can't miss. Real life is not like that.

Nevertheless, in the wrong hands they can be bloody dangerous.

Maybe he had a job before being stricken down by some sickness?, causing his debt to spiral out of control, and he was driven to desperate means to keep his head above water.

That aside, Every man I have ever known who wanted to get themselves a gun has never had any trouble doing so.

Yeah, but the small confines of your local dairy aren't exactly a shooting range. You don't have to be a marksman to hit the poor sod behind the counter.

And the prick sold some submachine guns too. You imagine what's going to happen when some munter high on P walks into a dairy or service station with a sub machine gun? Markmanship has nothing to do with it ....
