| 841174 | 2009-12-19 19:58:00 | After windows updates updated my display driver, nvidia control panel and ATI tool stopped working. I always get this message when trying to open the driver display panel: The NVIDIA Display Control Panel extention cannot be created. Possible reasons include: Version mismatch. Reinstalling drivers may solve the problem. AtiTool: The Kernal Mode Driver does not seem to be running. A device driver is required for communication with your video hardware. Did Windows update installed the wrong driver (133mb file) ? I've tried downloading the driver from NVIDIA Driver Downloads but there is no drivers for GTX 280 Win7 64bit OS. Does GTX 280/275/260 use the same driver? |

| 841177 | 2009-12-19 20:18:00 | Here (www.nvidia.com). It says 64 bit at the top. I would roll back / or uninstall the drivers you installed from WU before you install the Nvidia drivers | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 841178 | 2009-12-19 21:15:00 | Just installed it and Nvidia control panel works but ATItool doesnt - still comes up with the same msg | whellington (15030) | ||
