| 840637 | 2009-12-18 02:29:00 | Hi, I downloaded and set up Gmail some time ago-works well I have everything working BUT the video set up to be able to view/chat to a contact-as does Skype- which I normally use----this video setup gets to "download and install video" etc, which it does, but nothing I can do will get my name showing a icon/camera,denoting I can view the other party will work As I say it has worked perfectly but the demand settings that requires that to work no longer shows in the panel Now --and I am damned if I can get it to load and display the fact I have video available My contact has a camera icon beside his name,here , but he, in his turn, has no icon showing me as having a video,available What am I missing- a cleanout of all things pertaining to the original download merely brings the old settings back ( must be stored on line) It is not essential- just annoying something is beating me effie c |

| 840640 | 2009-12-18 02:55:00 | Hi Sweep and chilling, I thought I was using gmail- now you have got me thinking--would Google talk use the same settings in gmail settings In my efforts I tried and downloaded Google to see if I had missed something -neither worked and yet I have had Gmail video working- knowing my brain anything can happen. What should I do then - delete Google? effie c |
