840208 2009-12-16 09:20:00 Hey guys, I'm looking for a new LCD screen, I'm not very experienced with LCD monitors sofar, I'm used to CRT and the odd 5 year old dell or such.

Im looking for one with a 2-5ms response rate
HDMI input
Full HD
21.5 - 22"

Branded(I don't want a benq etc, I'm looking for along the ASUS/Samsung line)
price limit is $350.00

~Can suggest things outside these parameters but I need pro's/con's

Thanks, Joe

One of the only good monitors with HDMI

The screen quality is excellent, you can read reviews on the web

840210 2009-12-16 09:34:00 Viewsonic are ok. I'm using one here (VX2260wm). Bloody good monitor (22'). HDMI, VGA and DVI. And audio in and out. I use the DVI for the PC and the HDMI is connected to the Xbox. Since, it looks pretty crappy on the TV. Its too dark Speedy Gonzales (78)

840212 2009-12-17 03:40:00 stay away from the Chimei. Had over 70% of them fail in 2 years at my job...Cheap and NASTY! 12steps (14778)

I've never seen any problems with an LG screen - not one. Own two, they are both great. Excellent warranties. Bear in mind these are all less than two years old - never had any experience with older screens.

This (www.computerlounge.co.nz) is an LG 21.5" (well 22", they have honest marketing). 2ms response, HDMI, DVI, VGA. 1080p. I use this as my main PC screen and it's great, same thing as the one Blam recommended but smaller.
