You have obviously had a lot to do with farming Metla. Recently this townie going through a property with the permission of the farmer had four gates to open and close and they only managed to close one of them properly. Many a time in the old days during the mushroom season farmers have had many a gate left open. I have seen battens pulled off a roadside fence so that a traveller could have a cuppa or barbecue. |
