First time she went overseas as an adult she got a Brit passport because for some reason it was quicker for her at that time than to get a Kiwi one, and she only had a limited time in which to get a travel doc. When we weren't under pressure she got a Kiwi passport, and she let the Brit passport lapse twenty or thirty years ago. However, if we were going to Britain or Europe to work, no doubt she would get a work permit (I mean a Euro passport). She would be stupid not to, but it doesn't mean she would have shifted her allegiance from NZ to Pomgolia. Mind you, having entered Britain a few times now and seen their slack border control, I am not sure why they bother asking for passports. |

There are no Kiwi's every person living here is an immigrant child even the Maori, suggest you re read some history. There are no native New Zealanders unlike Oz that has Native Aboriginals. My country of birth has no native English either, i could be Saxon, Viking, French (Norman), Italian (Roman), Celt (original English) or a mixture of any of the above and if your white so could you. |
