| 732263 | 2008-12-25 23:12:00 | A lot of Xmas day was spent driving on surprisingly uncluttered roads to a camping ground that appeared to have all the clutter. Found a good paddock in a delightful spot, and got allowed to drive a tractor with hay baler on while others did the work. Today was allowed to do a bit of welding on a bale elevator, just having lunch now, then there are some serious sessions with the ale to come. Seems a good holiday so far. |

From friends i got 3x steinlager pure dozen, 2 x steinlager 15box, 4 x litre jim beams, 3 x litre jack daniels, 3 x lion red longnecks, a bottle opener and a guitar pick. | 732269 | 2008-12-26 08:23:00 | Got a new printer, but didn't get to take it away. LOL. It was the last one in the shop and had a couple of sticky price tag marks on it. The sales guy (quite a reasonable fellow actually), said he will take it out to the workshop and clean it up. 15 minutes later he came back out. One look at his face told me that all was not well! He had sprayed some citrus based cleaner on it which had melted it. He had then tried to wipe it of which left waves in the lid. The top lid when opened had dozens of threads hanging down, just like an over toasted marsh-mellow. Going back to see him next week to see what sort of a deal he will give me on the next one. :D :D | BobM (1138) | ||
