Here's the kicker: you can get a $40 cash back from M$ so you make money by buying the mouse! The cash back from MS is based on the retail price and not the price you actually pay for it. |

Anyway I wouldn't get an xbox, due to the ring of death problems, which is probably one reason the price has dropped so much. |

Didn't argue and simply went across the road to DSE. And the newer 360s have fewer problems. My 360 (made in 2005) just got the RROD (on xmas day :() but man did it last well. Still under the 3 year warranty tho. Also, just one thing with DSE, they tried to sell us their 3 yr warranty and I told the guy MS extended it from 1 yr to 3 and all the guys there were like "first of heard of that". Be careful, they'll say anything to get you to buy their extended warranty ($60) |

I had heard that too, although Leo Lapote, a well known tech person, has said that he has had a few knew ones, and they also experienced the red circle problem, and even the replacements had the same problem. I guess if you can get 3 years out of it, it is ok for that price. Microsoft must have made such a huge loss from the xbox. |

Mmmmm 1080p FTW!! :D :drool |
