All quality components in there, renowned brands, all from one reputable store, free shipping. I believe they charge around $100 for full assembly, but they may assemble it for free I'm not too sure.

I included only a 1TB HDD in there by assumption, you may need more, I don't know.

If you want it quieter just add $140 for a good air cooler (Prolimatech Megahalems) or $150 for a pre-set watercooler (Corsair H50).

Oh, and that's 4GB of RAM in there which should be plenty, but if you want/need more just add $200 to step it up to 8GB.

Computer Lounge is a very reputable company and offers an excellent warranty:)

840194 2009-12-16 09:18:00 Oh, and add $255 for W7 Professional 64bit OEM if you don't yet have it. qazwsxokmijn (102)
840195 2009-12-16 09:21:00 Hmmm, if using x64, it does work better with >4Gb, so if Lynnfield 8Gb or Bloomfield, 6Gb....RAM SolMiester (139)
840196 2009-12-16 09:26:00 I'm not sure if I read correctly but are you or your husband able to assemble it, If not it may cost extra for a local technician to do or possibly computer lounge could do it for a small charge.

Anyone here know?

Will give them a call sometime day. We don't have the ability to put the computer together.

I wouldn't want to suggest you attempt something you might not feel overly confident with; but, if I can put a computer together, then most other people should be able to do it.
It's a great learning curve and enormously satisfying when accomplished.
Be patient if you attempt it and it's good to have a friendly technician you can call for advice.

So true. I held my breath first boot. Then it worked. I was almost in a state of shock, it actually worked (mind you I didn't buy top of the line parts, kinda cautious, had a couple of good mentors who were only as far away as the phone too - but next time.... I'll build a monster).
