I received a call through Skype, and I could see and hear the caller, and they could see, but not hear me. I have Windows xp sp3, realtek, and a DSE phone. Everytime I do a test call on Skype, up comes a message to say that my mike must be muted, I then look at that, and find that it is not. Sometimes, the control on the speaker at rt bottom of the screen, goes down to the bottom by itself, and the Wave on the advanced becomes muted. I've tried adjusting the settings, but after numerous tries, nothing has changed. With the Audio, Voice, default and playback settings etc., I was told that one was with realtek and the other was with DSE. Which one though? I would appreciate it, if someone could put me on the right track.
I did ask the question through Skype, but it would not submit. In the (What is your Skpe name) slot,I put it in, and back comes a message telling me to update it. After typing the same thing again, the same thing kept happening, so I gave it away.:thanks |
