731277 2008-12-21 01:30:00 Sorry. I hate pink. I loathe pink, I detest pink.

Its in the top 3 hated of all time colours. And it wins.

Dark, blood red - yes.
Scarlet - no, not even that.

I don't mind pastel colours in house decor but NEVER pink. Ever.
Never as a clothing colour, never as a car colour. Never as a product colour.

Just because some marketing twits decided babies should be in pink does not mean all women like it.

My house was pink. Its now been repainted.

PInk flowers in the garden - gone. Well almost, there were one or two roses that survived mainly because I can't afford to replace all the plants.

Pink is only for q****s.

731280 2008-12-21 04:40:00 Is there some sort of psychological significance? I don't mind it, hardly wear it though.
Am with pctek regarding house or car. But other than those two things, never really thought about it. I was thinking about clothes when I voted and I think a guy who wears a pink shirt is someone who has no inhibitians. :D

731281 2008-12-21 05:23:00 According to evolutionary psychology woman are attuned to the colour pink and it's variants because that is the colour of ripe fruit which as hunter gatherer females they would constantly be on the look out for and they also have better performance than males at remembering the locations of the ripe fruit and their respective trees over the years. zqwerty (97)

731283 2008-12-21 07:54:00 aah... pink. I can remember when I was in the Army, the whole interior of the regimental HQ cells were painted pink one year because some shrink convinced the CO that it would pacify the inmates. Scouse (83)
