731299 2008-12-21 00:07:00 How much longer are we, the taxpayers, going to keep forking out for this low life?:mad:

731300 2008-12-21 00:20:00 Quote: Dixon's case has cost taxpayers close to $1 million, but Mr Hart denied the appeal was a waste of taxpayers money.

Well, he would wouldn't he as we continue to line his pockets from the apparently bottomless cash box.

731301 2008-12-21 00:20:00 I think we should let Dixon free in a cell with a machete and his scum bag lawyer.

And I think someone should say how much legal aid they have recieved so that there will be such an outcry that someone in the government will stand up and say enough !

Justice is for the good guys, and we've already conclusively established through assumption that he can't be one of them.

I take it that you do pay taxes. In another post you say that you are 15 years old therefore you may not have paid a lot of tax yet.

In New Zealand we have a system of law and every person has the right of appeal as matters stand at the moment.

Please note that I did not say you are wrong about Dixon but it may be time to think before bursting into print as newspapers do.

Justice has nothing to do with Law.

A Jury only hears what evidence the Prosecution and Defence present.
At times people commit perjury in Court. Recently there have been false allegations of rape which the Police caught up with before it got to Court.

Personally I want Justice. If I am not guilty I want the Jury to find in my favour. If I am guilty then I will take the consequences of my actions.

It may be time for all people to be DNA sampled at birth and also have a tracking GPS chip implanted at the same time.

That way the Police could present evidence that would be irrefutable so we could put all defence lawyers on the dole and the Court would be out of business as well.

Police in my Government would get to shoot people on the spot for doing 51Kph in a 50Kph area.

I think that you have confused me with someone else

Care to provide the link to substantiate your claims?

Otherwise, a full public apology is demanded.

I did, in fact, confuse you with another member and therefore I apologise unreservedly by thinking you were 15 years old if that is the only complaint you have against my post.

You fail to negate other comments I made on this thread.

You are entitled to your own opinions. I have no issues with them.

In the possibility that he is indeed 15, there is no reason as to why he shouldn't be angered at the topic at hand.

I've been paying tax for nearly 3 years now. May not be as much as most people, but my parents certainly pays a hell of a lot each year, and there's no doubt the money is being used on these scumbags to try to prove their non-existent innocence.

There should be a new proposition to the law: if a criminal is successfully convicted, then his/her lawyer should go down with the criminal.
