Luurve the cable spaghetti, down near your feet - so you can kick a cable out, just at the wrong moment!!!!

Just to hijack this thread a tad, does anyone have a clever way of avoiding the cable spaghetti that generates every time a new device is acquired?

I have a length of plastic guttering (the roof kind) attached to the back of my desk using the usual guttering stirrups. All cables and junction boxes sit in the guttering, thuse getting things up from under your feet and out of sight. Each cable is folded up to the right length and done up with those cable ties that you can undo if you need to. It keeps all the cables separate.

I find that alot of my cabling comes from the multiboxes/power blocks under the desk, so I screwed them to the back of it (www.imagef1.net.nz) (that's the underside of the desk top at the top of the pic), so there was literally no way I could kick a cable out. As a result I have little cabling down by my feet (www.imagef1.net.nz) :)
