I suppose you're all for Cuba, but those Labour reds? Better off dead? You almost never see SJ standing up for US foreign policy, so why are you criticising him? | 733696 | 2009-01-02 05:09:00 | C'mon, guys . I spend a lot of time trying to research this stuff, to bring what I think might be interesting and "discussable" and enlightening to all . It's not my purpose to try to spread hate and discontent, let alone being insulted by people on a mean vent . My purpose - trying as it might be to some persons - is to keep the F1 site fresh and relevant and otherwise up to the moment in world events, especially since we all share the same mother-tongue and have a lot of the same heritage . The only advantage I really have is that I am in a completely different timezone and have access to things in my daylight hours that are happening whilst youse guys are asleep - er except for Mr . Black that is . . I like the job I've given myself - keeping current- and cutting-edge articles rolling for intelligent discussion and perusal . I actually enjoy so many of the people I have met here and am truly engrossed in things NZ-ish . As a Yank (the noun; not the verb) by accident of birth, I am truly happy to see the invites for hospitality and grog, (the former warm and friendly; the latter being cold) . That being said, I do not prefer - nor do I defend - any political ideology nor do I even vote (for reasons that have been rather hotly dissed here before and which I will NOT rise to defend nor argue at this point in time) but that doesn't keep me from enjoying the banter here . I like to twist the occasional tail and poke some soft spots from time to time, but all in fun with an eye to appreciation of parity to us all . But please - don't shoot the messenger . :thumbs: |
