| 733322 | 2008-12-29 05:43:00 | Hi, I have noticed since I have a LCD TV that with sertain movies and tv programs I can see a sort of a slow motion in people's faces and slow motion especially with dark images. (No I am not a nutter and I don't use drugs!) The DVD player is hooked up with RCA only. Is this normal? Or should I upskill and get a new DVD player with HDMI?? Cheers |

Sounds like motion blur, which is common on cheaper LCD sets. Changing cable, will help, But it won't get rid of the motion blur totally. Next time go for a Plasma  |

Changing the hookup from composite to component (those RCAs are coloured red green and blue for video and red and white [or black] for audio) will normally fix this problem as would changing to HDMI connector or VGA connector. |
