| 842231 | 2009-12-22 05:46:00 | Hi all, New HP laptop, Windows7. Brand new as in brought home today. Set up all fine. Connected IE online. All sweet. Updated MSN messenger. The lappy turned itself off and on. Then the problems started - it will not finish loading the network connection - in that the icon goes round and round and does nothing. Going through control panel/network - the links will not open to be able to see a network connection. Start/pictures or/documents or trying to open windows explorer to remove MSN .. (its not in the add remove programs) brings this message ... The remote proceedure call failed and did not execute I cannot find system restore to move it back - though I doubt there is anywhere to move it back to .. what do you suggest chaps?? Thanks |
