| 841623 | 2009-12-21 03:30:00 | Hi Tried using wubu to install latest Ubuntu. Worked through all stages well. When I reboot though, I am not getting a choice of operating system. Windows XP just loads, no sign of ubuntu but it is on the C:drive. Xp S.pack 3 Latest wubi and the ubuntu version it chooses. Allowed 10 gig for install on C: drive. Absolute novice with Linux!!! Have checked ubuntu forum but not getting to the specific problem there. Any help appreciated. Thanks |

It installs ubuntu as an "application" in windows, so you must boot windows to use it. Edit: My mistake, it IS supposed to add an entry to the WINDOWS bootloader .... You might get more info asking here wubi-installer.org than the ubutnut forums. |
