Now that its kind of tidy - I wont be able to find any damn thing :D

Er....I only have one book. MS-DOS 6.22
And a few scraps of paper with bits I've noted down and forget about.

733602 2009-01-01 05:24:00 The idea with renting out software is so that people can use programs that they don't want to buy outright.

If I want to use a program for a short period, but don't see myself needing it after that then why should I buy it? It's where renting comes in. It would be good for something like CS4 or CAD programs that can run into large dollars.

Apple already do it to an extent with their movie rental functionality that you can access via iTunes.
