734667 2009-01-03 10:06:00 whats with all the stability control adds ??
whos the driving force behind these?
whats car manufacture is paying who ;)]
they are really becoming annoying !

also is this just another tech that 4x4 uses have to work out how to bypass in order to get the vehicle to work !

already got vehicles that won't stop due to ABS, brakes that wear out very quickly due to traction control, car engines that will not go because of power limiting for traction control.
what next, cars that don't go or wear out all the brakes becasue it doesn't like us sliding in the dirt ???

Anyone knows for a fact that it's the insurance companies that make this stuff mandatory.

I'd opt in for a speed limiter. I don't need any speeding tickets!

734672 2009-01-04 04:23:00 I remember Top Gear about 6 years or so ago did a report on some micro cars in Japan that were being built to get round the speed limiter thing. Basically these cars were about mini size could accelerate as fast as a Ferrari but topped out at 100kmh, the boy racers loved them gary67 (56)
