| 737026 | 2009-01-10 16:50:00 | Have you seen Google Docs yet? It's very cool and user-friendly . I like the "collaboration" part where you can have another party or parties on-line with you at the same time and all can modify and/or re-write the document as needed until it's satisfactory to all . OK . . . here's the problem: I would really like to see the "PREVIEW" ability on the toolbar, but it is only available when you go back to the "LIST" area where all the docs are noted and see it from there . Why I feel this is necessary is to see how the document will look when printed or rendered into a PDF . It's not like-formatted in the document-construction area and to see how or if it all fits, someone has to run a PRINT of the document and waste some ink and a few sheets of paper just to see if it's all OK before committing to a PDF . Kinda clunky, at best . So - I wonder if anyone has found an add-on or whatever to PREVIEW the document while the document is still on the main view card . All-in-all, I am very happy with the device as it's very easy to use and makes on-line modifications to contracts and such very nice and easy . I bet M$ would charge $M for this same feature . M$ +$M = Rip off! :groan: |
