| 735608 | 2009-01-07 01:05:00 | Anyone own a post 1999 MPV? Parents looking at getting one, they look very nice but would like someone with a bit of knowledge of the 1999-2004 models to let me know what they're like if at all possible. The engine is a Ford Duratech 2.5 V6, 200hp. Chain driven but not too sure on reliability. Cheers! |

Did everything to expectation, but nothing particularly well. The self-closing side doors are very Mercedes S-class! - that novelty never wears off! :D Performance from the asthmatic V6 depends on what you're carrying, but it's a 2.5 V6. You get what you buys. Economy depends on how you treat the aforementioned. But if you use it as intended, and we did, it was a very useful vehicle. An Odyssey would have been better, but budget didn't stretch to that. It's a Jappa. You get function, without frills. (side doors aside!) |
