2009-01-08 05:49:00 | This is how the thumbnail view would look like: [edit: LOL - I see it has already "thumbnailed" my previous full screen examples.] [edit #2: Oohh ... very cute how it displays the images when you click on the thumbnail]

2009-01-08 05:52:00 | This option is ready to roll if that is the decision. Unlike our colour picker AWOL status. Sigh. The mods must be rushed off there feet (chairs) sometimes - keeping the place free of Spam (and doing a damn good job of that to) - if this goes through no doubt some one will put up "questionable" material--- Oh well that what the report button is for I spose. Looking at the results so far - most want it , and Jens examples look ideal,- hey if it doesn't work, it can always be removed then it can join the color picker. Color - colour picker --- whats that --- OH Yeah :p

2009-01-08 05:55:00 | can we make it a toy for users who have say 100 posts ? this is to stop spammers showing us pron.We already have the option to stop members with less than 10 posts doing stuff, and posting images would be added to that. Do people think this post limit is OK or should it be higher? If so, what does everyone suggest?

2009-01-08 06:05:00 | I think 10 posts is good enough. Will all the images be stored for the life of the site?

2009-01-08 06:10:00 | I vote No But looking at the way the votes are going, I would prefer the thumbnail method, and for god sake don't let people upload .bmps set the allowable file types to gif and jpeg

2009-01-08 06:13:00 | Will all the images be stored for the life of the site?I don't know. I imagine FairfaxBM don't want the server disk space filled up with images. That is something the web lads would need to decide. There are options to remove images after X amount of time. | Jen (38) | |
2009-01-08 06:23:00 | If you click on that file name, it asks you log in to view it. So non-members would have to register to view any images in posts.Just tried that again while logged off, and this time it allowed you to view the thumbnail images in a new window/tab. :illogical I vote NoThere is still the option to turn off seeing images in your UserCP options. The same way you can turn off avatars and signatures. :)
