| 843271 | 2009-12-27 21:19:00 | If this is it (www.dse.co.nz) it should work on CD or the USB (MP3⁄WMA Compatible with ID3⁄WMA Tag (CD⁄USB). What does it say when you put the MP3 CD in?? Could be the way you burned them to the CD or something?? Did you finalise the CD? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 843272 | 2009-12-27 22:31:00 | I never cease to be amazed at your patience Wai.:badpc: ;) Narrrrrr -- Just hate it when things dont go as they should.. Anyways, heres how I use Ashampoo along with Pictures: My mistake last night - they were purchased through Digirama, as they dont have DRM in them, unlike Itunes - but you can still do it via Itunes. Make sure all the songs are in mp3 format, using a CD-R. 1. Open the programs, select Burn or rip Music / Create Audio CD Step 1 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 2. Click the Add Button - Add (www.imagef1.net.nz). 3. Navigate tothe folder(s) that have the song, select the ones you want, in this case I want all Click Add (www.imagef1.net.nz). Once added they will show Under (www.imagef1.net.nz)the window, click finish 4. bottom right hand corner, click Next - as long as the CD is OK you will get This window (www.imagef1.net.nz). 5. On the bottom right I click Change options (www.imagef1.net.nz) and select the slowest burn speed. - Click OK when changed. 6. Bottom right - click Write CD (www.imagef1.net.nz). It will Prepare the Tracks (www.imagef1.net.nz) - then Write them (www.imagef1.net.nz) - if you want to see the details, click on the "show Details" top right Example (www.imagef1.net.nz) - as you can see it automatically finalizes the CD so nothing more can be added to it. If you open My Computer, or Computer - look at the Optical drive you'll See the tracks (www.imagef1.net.nz) in .cda SHOULD play now. Edited: plays fine in the lounge stereo, ( have not tried in the PC though) |

| 843273 | 2009-12-27 22:37:00 | The JVC manual indicates: - If the connected USB device does not have the correct files, "CANNOT PLAY" appears. - If the files have not been formatted correctly, "NOT SUPPORT" appears. - This unit can show Tag (Version 1.0, 1.1, 2.2, 2.3, or 2.4) for MP3 files and for WMA files. - This unit can play back MP3/WMA files meeting the conditions below: --- bit rate: 32 – 320kbps --- sampling frequency: 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz (MP3 MPEG-1) --- sampling frequency: 16kHz, 22.05kHz, 24kHz (MP3 MPEG-2) --- sampling frequency: 22.05kHz, 32mHz, 44.1kHz, 48mHz (WMA) - This unit can play back MP3 files recorded in VBR (variable bit rate) - The maximum number of characters: --- folder names: 32 characters --- File names: 32 characters --- MP3 Tag: 64 characters --- WMA Tag: 32 characters - This unit can recognize 5,000 files, 255 folders, 255 files per folder, 8 hierarchies - This unit cannot recognize a USB device whose rating is other than 5V and exceeds 500 mA - USB devices equipped with special functions such as data security functions cannot be used with the unit. - Do not use a USB device with 2 or more partitions - This unit cannot play MP3 files encoded with MP3i, MP3 PRO, Layer ½ or in an inappropriate format. - This unit cannot play WMA files encoded in lossless, professional and voice format, or that are not based on Windows Media Auto. Quite a few people have found the actual length of the track titles is stopping the stereo playing the cd. |
