843396 2009-12-27 05:18:00 We have a PC (about 3 years old) running XP SP3 and until now we have connected to the home network via Lan cable. Can you advise the most cost effective way of allowing it to connect to the network via wireless (which we use for the laptops).

I have been reading a bit about PCI cards and USB Adapters.

843397 2009-12-27 05:38:00 Recommend PCI cards - as they dont have anywhere near the problems USB adapters do - Seen it many times the USB is hopeless - PCI card works perfectly.

One advantage for USB is you dont need to take the side off the PC. Just a last week, I changed a USB to PCI after weeks of problems on a customers PC - they brought it from Harvey Norman and paid for some clown at HN's to come and set it up.
