| 842824 | 2009-12-24 17:07:00 | yes thank you, what my friend wants to do is use ( <LimitExcept GET HEAD> </LimitExcept> ) And or <Limit GET POST PUT DELETE COPY> (And whatever else needs to be allowed for forum members) </Limit> or some simmular . and link to the entire global ip range, not including the nzl and au ips or vv which ever is nesecary . putting the rest of the globe on read only . it can be done, one of the head gurus at google said as much then stopped talking (I can figure why) . my friend knows it can be done, he's just not sure exactly how, yet . he's blocking half the planet at the moment (that would never need to acess his site anyway) and has NO SPAM problem . But google dont like this google also refuse to accept an exception for their bots, and his ranking is falling . When he get this to work his ranking will go back up, and he will have no spam issues . all pointers galdly accepted, something will turn up, eventually . |
