1447103 2018-03-06 15:57:00 i have a few dozen sticks, mostly 533mhz/667mhz. Mirddes (10)
1447104 2018-04-07 05:33:00 still got a few Mirddes (10)
1447105 2018-04-07 06:07:00 Not sure if I would take them. Later in the year I have something similar to get rid off as well. 9yr old technology computer that is to be rebuilt. Thing is for normal stuff they are still OK, photography software and obviously games and video editing won't.

I am running 2x DDR2 2GB and 1x DDR2 2GB also from China, I had a pair but 1 broke.

Fortunately some landfills do take them for free.

1447106 2018-04-08 14:39:00 After some few days this those sticks will be useless. Today I was hardly found a ddr3 4gb after searching quite a while. This is all marketing bro. Once I used Pentium 4 with 512 ram. I don't think its slower than my present pc. Every soft/service want up-gradation and that's why we are bound to upgrade. It's all marketing. Techguru (17606)
1447107 2018-04-08 22:33:00 My first PC had 1Mb (thats MB) of ram. And a 20MB hard drive . Why would anyone need more than a 286 & Dos6 ?
Pent4 , totally dont need that high a spec PC .
Its all marketing, forced obsolescence
My Dos6 PC booted faster than many Win10 PC's . No waiting for AV & drivers etc to load up. No waiting for Cloud sync on startup. Dos6 : fast. Windows : pfft
Office95 loads considerably faster than Office 2016,2013 etc.
Now , I just need to figure out how to encode vids , watch movies, open large JPG's on an 286 . And where can I get security patches for Win3.1 ?

No wheres my slide ruler gone
:-)
