I remember the story of the briefcase with the Playboy and the pork pie. :) Maybe it was a deliberate ploy and did they blow into the pie? Or were busy scanning the Playboy for suspicious hidden signs? There were so many reds under the beds. Whether, I like or dislike Jacinda Ardern is irrelevant but she is currently in charge and I am often left wondering if she is surrounding herself with capable (underscore that word, capable) people. If so, then it is not apparent. |

Winston is also looking and acting his part very well, almost fulfilling Mr Muldoon's prophecy from way back. |

Winston is also looking and acting his part very well, almost fulfilling Mr Muldoon's prophecy from way back. Pleasant change or not, you don't go on record calling the President of the United States a “Professional ar**hole" during an interview with Newsroom: “To a question about why voters should go for professional politicians like her who’d lived off the public purse – and what she made of the anti-politicians like Trump – Ardern was [apallingly] undiplomatic: “What – so you elect a professional ar**hole, instead?” And she thinks that President Trump is going to go easy on us, after speaking like that. Words have consequences, and she is putting us at risk with an important trade relationship. A stupid little girl, way out of her depth, even in her own country. |
