2018-03-28 07:00:00 | Too late the bed has been overturned and they were exposed and found wanting The only reason I can think of to send a spy, of any nationality, to NZ is for a bit of R&R. :) There is nothing they dont already know about us thats worth knowing. :D

Cant argue with that. :D My dear old Aunt, who I liked to stay with as a kid, was a cleaner there. Ballpoint Pens were a bit of a novelty back then and I used to score plenty out of the rubbish bins, get them working, and swap them for marbles at school. A Ballpoint pen was worth a couple of Steelies if my memory serves me correctly. :) |

2018-03-28 10:52:00 | I think they come for [...] our pies They must have heard how tasty our pies are in espionage/counter espionage circles ... after one of our own spies left his brief case on a park bench somewhere in Wellington. When opened, the brief case was found to contain ... a copy of Playboy - and a cold pork pie. Does anyone else remember this - mid 60s I think?

2018-03-29 02:49:00 | French spies have been more an issue than Ruskies :( Where were our 'friends' during that ? Chinese spies: more interested in getting some info before trade deals or to help out Ch companies doing a deals with NZ companies . Aus spies : stealing our Pav recipe and plans for our secret Butter Satellite

2018-03-29 20:49:00 | The police did a great job tracking the Frog terrorists, just a pity as you say that our so-called friends could only offer wet bus tickest to an island paradise for those caught. It was disgraceful. A sad day when embarrasing international politics over rode our laws. Yet again we kow-towed. | Terry Porritt (14) | |
