| 1446197 | 2018-02-14 01:54:00 | I'm assuming you've tried the driver listed on the Canon USA website? www.usa.canon.com Have you tried this? askubuntu.com I've run the gauntlet with both those 'suggestions' (the quotes are not in reference to your information - just that those ideas haven't worked for me so far). There's always hope though. SOMEwhere - SOMEhow - SOMEbody has an answer. |

| 1446200 | 2018-02-14 03:43:00 | . usa . canon . com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/black-and-white-laser/imageclass-mf244dw/imageclass-mf244dw" target="_blank">www . usa . canon . com Is where you go, you need version 3 . 50 Joe the same as the last time I showed you . linux-UFRII-drv-v350-usen . tar . gz is the file name . I'll try that again - but it only worked one time - er, until I shut down for the night and the next day it didn't work and the IP had been reassigned (remember that I asked about that IP reassignment?) in the printer and from that moment on, I never got it to print again . I could not get Ubuntu to 'see' the printer, scan for a new printer or anything---- all the time my Android tablets had no troubles at all . If the IP moved, the tablets should have had troubles too --- no? I'll give it another try though . [blink] I just went to that site, it detected my system and distro - and the DOWNLOAD button would not work . I have seen that before - when I HAVE a driver already installed, it will not allow it to be downloaded again . The page somehow KNOWS I have it installed - and it won't activate the button again . It's pretty smart ;( but it's lousing me up! I realize that the last time, I got this same driver - and it worked like I said - 1x . Something went bad in the next 24 hours somewhere . So - I have the 'correct' driver --- or a driver that worked 1x - but now it won't . 'Work' that is . Here's another crazy --- the newest installation of Ubuntu Studio --- although THIS time it won't run on my WSKY USB "dongle" - it WILL run the Canon 244! Just stranger and stranger and stranger . |

| 1446201 | 2018-02-14 04:13:00 | So you clicked on select and then on download? Note the date for this driver it is 02/13/18 which in your back to front yankie date format is the second of Feb this year, so you won't have that one will you? You aren't using a script blocker? |

| 1446202 | 2018-02-15 05:37:00 | Have you tried Boomaga? Download it and install it then print to it. Then print from Bomaga, it's fairly self explanatory, you'll see. Try it |

SELECT is blanked out . It's there to see, but my cursor never turns to a hand when hovering on it . . Script blocker? Have you tried Boomaga? Download it and install it then print to it . Then print from Bomaga, it's fairly self explanatory, you'll see . Try it Yeah - I tried Boomaga . Can't remember if it was the one that shot all my paper out of the tray with just one number/letter/symbol on it or not . I was getting confused by that time . I've got to get some clarity on all this stuff . A good night's sleep might help . |

| 1446204 | 2018-02-15 19:35:00 | Yeah script blocker, an add-on for your browser that stops scripts from running, unless you allow them. addons.mozilla.org addons.mozilla.org addons.mozilla.org Are common ones on Firefox. |

The fact that I had the opportunity to download them at one time, and now only the button for SELECT is greyed-out tells me that there was no interference from AdBlockers, et al originally. N'est-ce Pas? |
