| 1447944 | 2018-04-01 21:42:00 | Have you heard of Penjing? I had not until recently. We were in the Dunedin Chinese Garden when we came across it. Penjing (pot scenery in Mandarin) is an art form using trees grown in containers with rocks and other materials to create the representation of natural landscapes in miniature. The Japanese call it Bonsai. I knew that you would find that interesting. |
