A couple of guys ditched a Cessna off the coast of Kaikoura several years back. They got out of the aircraft alright - but died because they had no lifejackets as they had not planned to fly over water... <edit>Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961 - ditched off a beach on the Comoro Islands - 50 people survived. www.youtube.com |
