I run Xp pro on an HP desktop machine that runs well.
My default browser is Firefox, it runs with no problems. If I try to run IE 8 it takes much longer to load then the mouse does not work and the thing freezes. In all other repects the machine runs very well. |

Are there any addons in IE8? Or have you installed any toolbars for IE8? Have you scanned for malware? |

There are no addons and my antivirus software is always kept up-to-date. |

Hmm ok. Post a hijackthis log. We'll see whats in it, that maybe causing it |
