| 844228 | 2009-12-30 01:45:00 | Magical Jelly Bean doesn't work Win 7 or Windows 2008 server.. all its shows is BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB for both the machines. Maybe MS has done some sort of protection? Works fine for the XP machines. | ronyville (10611) | ||

| 844231 | 2009-12-30 02:03:00 | As it happens I'm using Win7 64 bit and magic jellybean worked for me. From the link above:- " Standard Hooplah The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware open source utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install Windows from your registry. It allows you to print or save your keys for safekeeping. It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, Server 2003, Server 2008, Office XP, Office 2003, and Office 2007 family of products. It also has a community-updated configuration file that retrieves product keys for many other applications. Another feature is the ability to retrieve product keys from unbootable Windows installations." |

Download from here, link down the bottom (www.magicaljellybean.com) Part of the results (www.imagef1.net.nz) Obviously not going to show full key. Simply download, unzip the three files all in a folder double click keyfinder - never ever run as admin either. | wainuitech (129) | ||
| 844234 | 2009-12-30 07:09:00 | [B] never ever run as admin either. I've only ever had to do it in Vista. Haven't actually tried it or needed it in Windows 7 yet. |
