2009-12-29 02:48:00 What OS is on it? Speedy Gonzales (78)
2009-12-29 02:48:00 vista basic mohadino (14141)
2009-12-29 02:57:00 Is wireless enabled in the router? Is the Nokika connected with wireless or bluetooth?? Theyre not the same thing Speedy Gonzales (78)
2009-12-29 03:00:00 its using WEP i don't know what you mean by "what i have selected in vista" mohadino (14141)
2009-12-29 03:02:00 I would use something else besides WEP. Use WPA or WPA2 if the router and the laptop support it. With a key. Is SP1 or SP2 installed? Speedy Gonzales (78)
2009-12-29 03:10:00 the key for WEP and WPA is the same mohadino (14141)
2009-12-29 03:13:00 They have to be both WEP or WPA. One cant be WEP and the other WPA. Is SP2 installed? Speedy Gonzales (78)
2009-12-29 03:14:00 where can i change that bcoz the modem has both WEp and WAP and the Key is the same but i dont know which the laptop is mohadino (14141)
2009-12-29 03:18:00 Try this (www.vista4beginners.com). I'm not using vista. And if a service pack isnt installed, install them. Leave the modem on WPA then give it a key then save settings. Then configure vista. The modem/router supports both of them, but it wont show what vista is using. Thats why it shows WEP and WPA and maybe other options Speedy Gonzales (78)
