2009-12-28 02:23:00 | I have MSSE,Nod32,Windows Defender, all run on start up and use MBAM,SuperAntispyware,F-Secure Blacklight Root kit scanner as on demand scanners,is there a better way I could set my start up items. I have never found anything on my computer with any of these programs and I do go to some dodgy sites. | Roger Hunt (13648) | |
2009-12-28 02:30:00 | I would dump MSSE if you have Nod32, Nod is better, and there can be conflicts between antivirus software if you have more than one. Generally Antispy / Malware programs play nice together.

2009-12-28 02:32:00 | And MSSE will disable windows defender once it installs. And yup you dont need so many | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2009-12-28 02:41:00 | Thanks Guys Have already found Win Defender turned off was scratching my head about that will remove MSSE should I let MBAM run on start up? | Roger Hunt (13648) | |
2009-12-28 02:45:00 | Just dont use file sharing programs, or go to dodgy sites. Then you'll only need 1-2 programs. I think the startup entry for MBAM has to be in startup. Or it may not run at all | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2009-12-28 03:07:00 | Hi Speedy, I have been told I am expected to die within two years (that was 1 year ago) dodgy sites are still fun to me so there must be some life in me still. Thank You for your help I found the free MBAM wont start at start up so will keep it as an on demand scanner
