843734 2009-12-28 01:24:00 Have been given one of the old telecom sticks that is a sierra wireless card - the model prior to the usb t stick thing that they offer now - only issue is the card slot in my laptop (acer aspire 3000) is about twice the width of the telecom card.

Help.....thanks

843735 2009-12-28 01:33:00 Its probably a different interface to what telecom's stick it. If it doesnt fit it probably wont work. Ones probably a cardbus / PCMCIA, and the other expresscard. You may need some kind of adapter Speedy Gonzales (78)
843736 2009-12-28 01:36:00 Just looked up the specs on the internet for the laptop and it says it has a single type II PC card slot. The telecom thingy says on the box i need a express 34/54 card port - whatever all that means !!! globe (11482)
