| 738728 | 2009-01-16 12:34:00 | Also, its worth noting that it makes absolutely no difference regarding who was driving or not, the car / keys were in the car of the Father, and its his responsibility to look after those assets while they're in his care. Unfortunately if something happens, he foots the bill, thats just the way it works. Not to mention from the sounds of things the Car Rental Co was doin the family a favor, telling them the bill was coming but not giving them it immediately .. at least that way if they're claiming life insurance or whatever that they know to make arrangements for it ... Damn media blowing this whole thing up IMO! |

All fairness he is trying to run a business and because of an act of nature, his business should not be made to suffer from it. However the timing was far too hasty... I believe its called the 'grieving' process. But let us not forget the media does blow things out of proportion. |
