Not a lot of white space in those apart from the margins. I must admit that I sometimes have problems with comprehension on some posts on PressF1. Books don't look like walls of text either. Just stick to PB Tech, still the best and excellent service. |

| 738234 | 2009-01-13 18:25:00 | I sympathize Limepile, I hate things that don't have prices on them. Dick Sh*t seems to be doing that a lot now days. And if someones stops serving me to answer the phone, I leave. I would have thought better the guaranteed sale than a possible sale. And sales assistants, either they pester you when you don't want them or ignore you when you do. Is there no training for sales assistants? A friend of mine was in a boat shop one Saturday, the salesman was busy talking to his mate. My friend chatted to another customer while they waited at the counter. After 10 minutes the other customer left. When my friend finally got served, he dumped what he was buying on the counter and told the salesman he would go somewhere else with better service. He then told the assistant what the other customer wanted to buy, a $56,000 boat. poor customer service, poor takings. |

No I am no gentleman. I just don't like shop assistants shadowing me in a shop when i am browsing. I never said I know everything. But then again nor do most of the DSE assistants. Once again - I just don't like shop assistants shadowing me in a shop when i am browsing. |

I always ask people coming in if they want any help, if not then I leave them be. If so we have comfy chairs for them to sit on while discussing their needs. Advice is free - even if they don't want to buy here. Diagnosis is free. Quotes are free. Minor repairs taking less than 5 minutes are free. |

You are never going to completely please every section of the community. Pctek's "Let me know if I can help" method is good business practice, whether it is a large or small business. Gender and/or age makes no difference. Bad service is bad service (in some cases, non-service), it can be the downfall of a business, especially where competition is around. I avoid places where I have suddenly become invisible. The KiwiHost courses that were around several years ago don't appear to be in operation any more. Feel free to correct me on that one. They were a great way to encourage, train and remind people what service and repeat service is all about. |

| 738240 | 2009-01-13 21:50:00 | but then y did she get excited when bantu picked stuff off the shelf? happy thinking that she has spotted a shoplifter and thinks she will get a huge raise for doing that? no salesman should follow a costumer around just because they think the costumer loks like a theif they should guard the door and c if they go to the counter and pay, if they don't, they don't let them through the exit and call another salesman to report the shoplifter. a shoplifter canot be called a shoplifter until they shoplift and even a shop lifter could oneday not want to shoplift and pay |

| 738241 | 2009-01-13 23:15:00 | pcuser7895 - Maybe she was on commission and thought she was going to make some money, I don't know. She sure put a bit of a smile on. sam m - Younger hmm I am certainly not young, I was at school in the 1950's you do the maths. Nope I don't look like a shoplifter, not that I really know what one should look like. Maybe if I was in tatty jeans and had a heap of Tattoos I might look bad, but I'm not like that either. I just don't like being followed and pestered when I go into any shop. I like to browse and buy when I am ready, and I am a bit of an impulse buyer. |
