843949 2009-12-29 20:03:00 I have reinstalled all the drivers from dell resource cd and from dell site for my tag numbered machine.
Just the ATI one freezes.
If it is integrated would you know because the screen plug is attached to the main board instead of being in a slot?
The link says you dont need the manager anyway its just a simple way of downloading all the drivers at once.

843950 2009-12-29 20:14:00 I dont know what you've done to make it say it needs to know what program created it. I downloaded that file ran it, it ran. Then you click on install. And it installs something. I wont do it, because I dont have a dell

Try it in IE

843957 2009-12-29 21:01:00 Go back to that drivers site, click on the download link. SELECT the 2nd option. Download via your internet browser, then it may work. Then install/run it. The file you download is R118968.exe

As it says after you download this file

Hard Drive Installation (via WinZip) with Setup.exe File for R118968.EXE

Download

1.Click Download Now, to download the file.
2.When the File Download window appears, click Save (Windows XP
users will click Save) this program to disk and click OK. The Save In:
window appears.
3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file
icon appears on your desktop.

Install

1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R118968.EXE.
2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R118968. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.
3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
4.Click OK.
5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R118968 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
