It was being commented on, on tv and apparently the crew were fighting hijackers at the time of landing. The pilot in particular was being beaten about the head. It was this that caused him to dip the wing into the water which spoilt the chance of many more people on board surviving. Brave or self preservation? Bit of both probably. Ken |
