738222 2009-01-13 07:06:00 Ever heard of paragraphs and/or white space? :(

Man, I got a headache just looking at your post................

x2 on that one.

Yep I either get the upstart a**hole that pounces as I walk in the door before I even get time to focus, (Harvey Norman is bad for that here) or stores that totally ignore me.

DSE Manukau I got this clingon as I walked through the door, she stuck with me where ever I went. I told her to piss off and leave me to look but no, she stuck with me. I choose about 4-5 items of reasonable value which she looked like she was getting really excited to see me buying, walked closer to the checkout, her grin was getting bigger and bigger, I handed her all the items at the checkout and walked out.

I like a happy inbetween where if you want info or a price there is someone to ask that is not hot on my heels but is there to actually ask.

Erk.
If you told her to piss off then you are not a gentleman.
As you know everything then work at DSE.

If she was really excited why did you exit?

How do I read a post from you before you post?

738227 2009-01-13 07:37:00 Actually Sweep, you really should read and think before you post!! He meant that he would read his own posts before sending so as to avoid silly errors like the one he quoted.

Write in haste by all means, but post after considered thought!

Cheers

I have a difficulty understanding some posts on this forum.
Of course you know what was meant by all posts you read.

You gave your post considered thought. A whole 11 minutes approximately

Thank you very much for your post.

A take it you assume that Limepile is of the Male gender.
Do you know this to be a fact?

I am so lucky to be corrected by a person of your knowledge.

738229 2009-01-13 07:52:00 Maybe she was just excited to see you. gary67 (56)
738230 2009-01-13 08:52:00 Reading the original post, The better half and myself had as similar experience with Hardly normal a year or so back.

On a Saturday we walked in - dressed in track pants, t-shirt the kind of casual look wanting to buy a LCD TV - a couple of the shop assistants looked at us as we walked in, and kept on talking - after about 15 minutes no one had come up to ask if we wanted any help. Yet other better dressed people they were all over like a rash.

As a test the following day we went back in this time had on my "Good work clothes" tie and all  - well the same shop assistants almost couldn't wait to scramble to help - I simply asked why we were ignored yesterday when we came in wearing casual gear - they couldn't answer - I said real snarly - wasn't our money any good then ---um um um was the answer.

738231 2009-01-13 09:21:00 It was such a pity when Dessert Island, I mean Fashion Island was built and they couldn't afford the new rents so closed up.

Load of rubbish that place is. :(

Mitre10 was much better.
