738209 2009-01-13 20:09:00 The whole episode in this case = parents fault. Right from allowing their 6 year old to play GTA to not watching what he's doing when hes not murdering prostitutes or crashing Ferraris.

Come on. The kid did well, easy to drive car or not. He's 6!!
I certainly never hid the car keys until my son was in his teens.

And was he taking it to hoon around - no, he was anxious not to miss school. More points to him, he obviously isn't affected by either games or idiots that think it leads to delinquency.

738210 2009-01-13 21:04:00 Wont take long for some lobby group to kick up a stink, like those 2 kids who did that high school massacre, the listened to heavy metal so once again heavy metal got a bad wrap, they wouldn't dare think of mentioning they had mental issues and were heavy drug users, let alone being constantly beaten up at school and at home. No, it was the music!

And the russian shooter too, they blamed metal for that dudes rampage and didnt mention he was a certified schizophrenic who hadn't been taking his medication and had mailed suicide notes and death threats to the local cop shops etc

It was the music and the games!!

And the Doom game got sued (which was thrown out of court) by some lobby group saying it was to blame for another massacre at an american high school. All because the dude made a level of doom on his own which looked just like the school he opened up on (which was a laughable accusation).

Sheesh!

very responsible mum and dad to buy a 6 year old boy a game to play with
very irresponsible mum and dad to not actually know what type of the game holds
