737238 2009-01-11 04:23:00 Up to you what you buy

Go to the gigabyte site and do a search. It was just easier typing in wifi on the ASUS site. Than it was on the gigabyte site (it found nothing)

Heres one (www.hardcoreware.net)

And another (ixbtlabs.com) (A card not onboard)

737239 2009-01-12 06:11:00 oooo okayyy... i guess i wont be looking at wifi mobos. Too expensive atm.
Any suggestions for a normal mobo that i can upgrade in the future (ie SLI ready, etc)

737240 2009-01-12 18:21:00 Shop around.

Lately I have been buying most from Ascent and pbtech, but a recent motherboard I purchased was $100 cheaper on NZOCzone. I asked Ascent if they could match or better it and they couldn't, the best they would do was drop 10% which did not come close.

I look/compare at playtech, C1, pbtech, ascent, computer lounge and nzoczone and for some things dse, plus my wholesale suppliers ingram, renaissance etc.

I'll just browse around first.
Is this forum becoming dead or something? I saw a sticky note "Let's Build A PC april 2008". That's like the past, someone should make a new thread for 2009.

Are there any other things that I may have to take into consideration?? Like the pins on the PSU.. I just read that some PSU have 6pin or 8pins. Are all these parts compatible with each other?
Dual link for the lcd monitor?? or something like that. Do I need to buy a anti-static wrist strap when I install the components(when I have the components)
OO Im soo nervous, this is my first time building a pc. So any help would be appreciated.

737244 2009-01-26 01:10:00 I meant Dual link DVI for the GPU?? or something like that. Does it mean I cant connect to an lcd monitor with a single link DVI? snoopyep (11561)
737245 2009-01-26 01:14:00 Anandtech forum clockers really really like that board...! SolMiester (139)
737246 2009-01-26 01:30:00 I would personally spend another $100 or so for a Q9450 which has double the cache of the Q9400. qazwsxokmijn (102)
