737381	2009-01-16 05:35:00	I am very disappointed with the slack response from the Arab countries but they are scared of Hamas type organizations springing up in their corrupt counties. Hamas might be bad arses but one thing they are not is corrupt which is scary to any Arab govt or royalty. The minimum I would have expected is 1. Saudi, Iran and Iraq cut of oil to USA 2. Egypt, Turkey and Jordan expel all Israeli diplomats. 3. Lebanon Hezbolla and Lebanese army to attack from North. 4. Egypt to open their border with Gaza 5. Egypt to cancel natural gas supply contract 6. Iran allow volunteers to go to Gaza via Egypt and fight the Israelis Until the Arabs get their s*** together the Gazians are doomed, The Shiite Sunni split is as big as the Jew Arab split. Sorry Gazians you are doomed I think there are more Western countries and people who feel sorry for you than Middle Eastern ones. If any of this happened (especially#6) then you could kiss Tehran goodbye. Israel would finally have a reason to bomb Iran (Nuclear Weapons. Israel has them)	beeswax34 (63)
737382	2009-01-16 06:25:00	I shouldn't worry your brain too much Cic trying to figure things out, invoking god won't help.......I'm all for balance.......... :) But, at the same time the vast contribution to society in the sciences, arts and fields of entertainment by peoples of Jewish ancestry/religion cannot be denied. The world would be a much poorer place without all those greats and giants of science and music. Edit: I don't know of any popular music from the 20s/30s written by Arabs. All that eastern type "music" is all out of tune. Can you think of anything the Arabs have contributed this century> Apart from all the stuff you talk of,the Israelis are still adding to society with an endless supply of invention. Cant believe not one person here will stand up for the down the down trodden huas (Gazians) while a big bully (Israel lays in to them. I bet when you buggers where at school you were bullies, or laughed when the bullies layed into some poor kid. As far as Hamas rocket attacks they killed as many as killed as the road toll for one weekend in Israel. Doesn't the fact that the Israel army will shell UN installations every chance they get give you heartless people a wake up call. You are victims of the Jewish propaganda machine. 737388	2009-01-16 10:18:00	Hay can anyone answer these questions: 1. Which Arab countries in the Middle East are democracies and have more then 1 party to vote for? 2. And Women can wear whatever they want and not get stoned to death? -(like wear skimpy togs at a beach that is open to male's and female's as well,not a sectioned of beach for male/female etc.)- and yes that is an example I know there is not much beach's in the Middle East!!! 3. And Women can get work in a "tradional" male job,ie. they have the freedom to do whatever job they want, firefighter,mechanic,etc. Just wandering,thats all.:thumbs:	memphis (2869)
737389	2009-01-16 17:59:00	I think the real issue with this conflict (I suppose would apply to any conflict involving violence) is that there appears to be indiscriminate bombing which has killed children and innocents. From my understanding Muslims are opposed to terrorism but unfortunately the terrorists happen to be Muslim (or a faction of) so this should not be a discussion about Jews vs Arabs / Muslims, both have legimate rights to their own belief system, but whether the heavy handed bombing is necessary. Childen dont hate naturally, we teach them how. What we need is someway for children to teach us.	sam m (517)

Not maybe this century but if you check your history you would find what the Muslims did and invented, contributed to world society before the Greeks, Romans, etc. I'm condoning them though or the Israelis both sides are supposed to be adults and should hang their heads in shame to what they are doing, there are no winners when death is involved only losers Has everyone forgotten that Yasser Arafat started out as a terrorist?	gary67 (56)
